Any Hotels in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area that are affordable. Check in age of 18?

My friends and i are planning a trip to LA this summer as a sort of Graduation gift to ourselves. Does anybody know of any affordable hotels that you can reserve and check in at the age of 18?

The Motel 6 Hollywood is about the cheapest OK motel, but it states on the website that they only rent to 21+. That's something you will run into a lot. But you should call and check to see if they've changed their policy. If they say they have, be sure to get the person's name. If you're spending time over near Pasadena (30+ minute drive to Hollywood), the Motel 6 in Arcadia website states that they accept 18 year olds, but always double check by calling.

A list of motels will show up, you can probably get the cost for most online (be sure to put in exact travel dates for correct rates), but it might not state the age, so start calling.

You can stay at a hostel, they have dorm style rooms, but many have single or double rooms. Usually they will accept 18 year olds, most want to see proof you've traveled from out of town, some are just for international travelers. Sometimes that's just for the dorm rooms, and they will accept US travelers into the higher priced rooms.
