Siren Lure and Compari Favored in Triple Bend / Gold Cup Odds
Hollywood Park race track in Southern California will feature two Grade I races for Saturday with the $250,000-7 furlong Triple Bend Handicap along with the $500,000 mile and one quarter Gold Cup. Eight year old gelding Siren Lure will arrive for the Triple Bend shooting for his second ever victory in horse betting odds at the event in which he was the winner of in 2006. Siren Lure is a 9 time stakes winning horse and should be among one of the horse betting favorites at online racebooks for Saturday race. A full field of 14 horses are scheduled to run with top contenders Rebellion, Noble Court and Monterey Jazz.
Another horse to watch is Grade 1 winner Gayego, who will arrive from the famed Godolphin stables in Dubai. Rail Trip will be looking for a repeat win in the Gold Cup which he was the champion of last year at Hollywood. He already has wins in the Grade 2 Mervyn LeRoy handicap and the Grade 2 Californian Stakes on June 12. This year Rail Trip will enter as one of the favorites in horse betting odds whereas last year he was an overlooked long shot.
Other top horse betting favorites in the Gold Cup odds will be Compari, a four-time stakes winning horse along with Tres Borrachos, who finished 2nd in last year's Gold Cup race. Another horse to watch in the Gold Cup is Bob Baffert trained Richard's Kid, who was the 2009 winner of the Pacific Classic. This year he was the winner of the Grade 2 San Antonio on February 7. Baffert said the horse is a "little rusty" but is capable of a really good run. Compari had won 5 consecutive races before a poor 7th place finish in the May 31 Shoemaker Mile Grade 1 race at Hollywood.

Why is there almost no coverage of the Gold Cup on Yahoo's World Soccer homepage?
I know their sites are regional, so why not cover the Gold Cup in America? At least put a link to a page covering it.
Try Foxsoccer.com, they are covering the Gold Cup and (obviously) are associated with Fox Soccer Channel. Yahoo sites may be regional, but even the U.S. national team will have a hard time making the Yahoo headlines in America.
