New Night Club Opens in Bangkok - Club Insomnia
Club Insomnia Bangkok is the latest addition to the Insomnia Group's resume.
The much anticipated grand opening was held on the 5th November 2010. Although it had somewhat mixed reviews, from what was gathered the opening night was a major success.
The venue shares many similarities with its sister club Insomnia Pattaya. It boasts an incredible visual set up and amazing lighting, with giant projetcion screens and an earth thumping sound system. It is certainly not the place to go if you want to sit back with a beer and have a casual chat. Any conversation in the club requires your mouth firmly pressed up against the listeners ear and then you have to shout on top of that ! In any case this is normal for a club of this genre. If lazy beer and mellow beats is more to your style, you're better of going somewhere else. For the seasoned party goer, you'll have an amazing experience.
Club Insomnia is certainly a stand out among the many night spots of Bangkok, and Thailand for that matter. You'll be hard pressed to find anything as modern and appealling to the younger party goer.
Seeing that Insomnia Bangkok has only been open for a short time, it is difficult to predict how succesful this club will be just from its opening night. One would assume that the owners behind Insomnia Group have invested an obsence amount of money on the project and have vested interest in its success. Only time will tell.
