Alpine Inn in Hill City (http://www.alpineinnhillcity.com) We've only been for lunch, but I've heard that their fillet mignon dinner is very good too!
Ruby House in Keystone (http://historicrubyhouse.com/) Keystone is the town right before Mount Rushmore. It has a western saloon type feel, but is family friendly.
Loud American Grill in Sturgis (http://www.loudamericanroadhouse.com/) While this is a bar and grill, many families bring their children for lunch or dinner. They have excellent steak tips! Don't go with kids during the Stugis Motorcycle Rally Aug. 9-15. It's right on main street and will be filled with bikers.
Also in Sturgis is Scoop Town Creamery (http://scooptowncreamery.com/) While this isn't a restaurant, they definitely have the best ice cream in the Black Hills!
