How to Find the Right Trade Show Giveaways
Even with stunning trade show displays and outgoing, knowledgeable staff, the right trade show giveaway items may be the ticket to winning them over. Everyone loves free swag and the benefit to giving out promotional items at conventions is the perfect way to brand your company. There are several factors to take into consideration when picking out the perfect giveaway product.
Who's Your Target Audience?
What may appeal to one demographic could be completely wrong for another. Think about what target audience you are trying to draw to your display system. It is also a great idea to have two different giveaway items; one that you hand out to everyone who comes to your convention displays and a special one that you hand out to interested, potentially new customers.
Know Your Budget
Before you can start making a wish list of all of the products you want to give out for the event, you need to know your budget. There are items to cover every price range and quality level.
Find the Perfect Item
There are hundreds of different products to choose from that will make you stand out, but which one will work best for you? The most memorable giveaways are the ones that either carry out a specific theme your company currently has or is somewhat related to your industry. For example, if you work for a company who's known for being eco-friendly, reusable water bottles or tote bags made out of recyclable materials.
Imprint Your Company's Logo
One of your main reasons for giving out promotional items is to be remembered long after the convention is over. So having your logo and contact information printed in clear view is a must for an unforgettable product. Your contact information should especially contain your website and phone number for them to contact you when they're ready to do business.
Let Your Audience Know About it
Free stuff will definitely draw in a crowd, so let you audience know about it through the use of social media. Posting it on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn is a great way to entice attendees to stop by your trade show exhibits. Another excellent social media website is YouTube, so consider taking a video of your display system and showing the giveaway items. Everyone wants something they think is in-demand, so create a sense of urgency by telling your audience that you are only giving them out to the first 50 people (give or take a few) to stop by your booth display or that you only have a few left.
Giveaway items along with an eye-catching convention exhibit will definitely make you a hit at the event. One thing to make your display system more memorable is by using a unique item that they won't receive from every display booth they walk by. So, think hard about what product will fit in your budget, will attract your target audience, and will be remembered long after the event to become a hit at the big trade show.
