Reading and Leeds Festival 2011 Tickets will go on sale on Monday 21 March 2011
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in the United Kingdom.The 2011 Reading Festival is coming soon. Get some fresh air and rock out. The event takes place simultaneously at Little John's Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds, attracting some of the most famous names in the industry. Fans will be able to buy tickets as soon as the line-up is announced at 7pm (GMT) on the same day. The festivaltakes place over the weekend of August 26-28. To date festival boss Melvin Benn has ruled out big names including Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon and System Of A Down for headline slots. Rumours so far have suggested The Strokes and Muse are both possibilities for 2011.
With acts spread across several stages throughout the three days, Reading & Leeds offer a great opportunity to not only see your favourite bands play massive headline gigs on the main stage but also to discover some of the hottest up and coming talent. As more and more festivals crop up around the UK, its easy to forget the ones that matter. The Reading Festival, for example, matters. Many of the best bands in the last thirty years have played at Reading and Leeds. Last year saw Arcade Fire and Blink-182 top the bill, and Guns 'n Roses invent their own 'post-headline-headliner' set.
Last year's line up has every new buzz band you've read about this year and includes Rage Against the Machine, The Killers, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age, Bloc Party, Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Babyshambles, Dizzee Rascal plus many more all exclusive performances. Tickets for the 2010 Leeds Festival were released on 31 March at 6:45p.m. and sold out in record time. The Reading Festival, the original and senior leg of the two, is the world's oldest popular music festival still in existence. It has had various musical phases over the years, as detailed below. In the twin-site era, rock, alternative, indie, punk and metal have tended to dominate.

Why cant i buy blink 182 tickets at ticket master! 2011?
So I know blink 182 is coming to calgary Aug 28th, and there are tickets for sale other places but the ticket prices are kinda ridic.. i just wanted to check ticket master pricing aswell or if any were available but i cant even find them at ticket master?! They are coming right ? Why arent they on the site?
