Bob Carr Orlando Seating Help?
Hi, yesterday I bought my mom a ticket to see Kathy Griffin at the Bob Carr in downtown Orlando and to my surprise was able to get Seat AA seat 5 left orch. I've been there a few times and know that it's not big at all, but I'm still not sure if that seat is good (I've only ever sat in the balcony). When I checked a few days ago, the best I could get was quite far away from the front, so I'm still not sure how I was able to get better tickets yesterday through ticketmaster than during the presale. I really just want to make sure I get my moneys worth and that my mom will be happy on Christmas when she sees the ticket. So, back to the initial question, do you think the tickets are good and will she be able to see Kathy. Thank You
B/C of the manner in which tkts are brokered, especially to on-line sites, it's not uncommon for certain seats to be unavailable one day, then available the next. I've been to Bob Carr for several shows. The last comedy I saw was Carlin and we were in Left Orchestra, Section-T, basically beneath the balcony (I think). Sound quality was good, and we could just make out his face. When I go to venues where I think I might revisit, I make it a point to look around to see what sections would be problematic for a future show/event. I don't recall that AA would be a problem, other than Seat-5 probably being @ a 2-o'clock viewing perspective relative to center stage. If I were you, I'd consider myself lucky & confident that you were able to get premium tkts for your mom.
