Don Rickles Tickets – Rickles Readies for Dates with Joan Rivers
Most people would have to prepare for quite some time to handle even an hour with the fiery comedian Joan Rivers. Don Rickles, though, seems well-suited for it, and the pair together equals comedy gold. Rickles and Rivers will be sharing the billing for dates this May and June.
The first is a two-night stint at the Capital One Bank Theatre in Westbury, N.Y. on May 21st and 22nd. The dynamic duo will be together again on June 25th and 26th at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn. Fans of Don Rickles can also enjoy him on the big screen on June 18, although only his voice. Rickles lent his voice to the third installation of the Toy Story saga. Like in the other two films, Rickles voices Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story 3. His wife, Mrs. Potato Head, is voiced by another famous comedian, Estelle Harris. Also doing voices in the film are stars like Tom Hanks (Woody), Michael Keaton (Ken), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), Cheers' John Ratzenberger (Hamm the Piggy Bank), Joan Cusack (Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl) and many more. The story follows the toys as they are donated to a daycare when their owner, Andy, goes off to college.
At 84 years old, most entertainers would be slowing down. Not Don Rickles. His perseverance helped earn him a spot on Nerve.com's list of the "Eight Funniest Senior Citizens." He landed at number three on the list, behind Betty White (who is riding high off of her recent gig hosting Saturday Night Live) and Mel Brooks. Also on the list were Ellen Albertini Dow, Adam West, Carl Reiner, Ernest Borgnine and Elaine Stritch.
Rickles has perfected insult comedy better than just about anyone else, and no sex, race, age or ethnicity is off limits at his shows. His cutting-yet-hilarious style has earned him two nicknames, Mr. Warmth and the Merchant of Venom. Rickles early years were spent growing up in Queens. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he attended drama school and soon began his standup career. Along with his standup career, Rickles has made many appearances on films and television shows. He is undeniably one of the legends on the entertainment world.
He will have his hands full with another no-holds-barred comedian when he teams with Joan Rivers. Rivers is also known for her sharp tongue (as well as the plastic surgery that she is open about and proud of). Just this year, a documentary about the one-of-a-kind star was released, called Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work. The film debuted at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and has been appearing at other music festivals since. She is also the host of a new show on TV Land called How'd You Get so Rich? Somehow, she manages to squeeze live dates into her schedule as well. Like Rickles, Rivers doesn't show any signs of slowing down any time soon.

My friend bought concert tickets off me, we fell out and she say's she is now going to go to the police?
I bought tickets to a concert for ma and my friend, who was infact my boss at work. I left as i didnt enjoy working there anymore, and i fell out with this person. i then made a stupid decision and sold the concert tickets. she then said she was going to go to the police, i told her i would give her the money as soon as i get paid. she is always txting me, calling me, and leaving angry voice messages on mine and my parents answering machines. i explained to her that i cudnt answer my phone as i was at work, and then she changes her mind. and wants the money a week from 2moro, i explained to her that im really struggling for money, but she is saying if she doesnt have it by this time, she will go to the police. Do you have any advice on this? if so can u help
Its a civil matter not a police matter because you intend to pay her but just do not have the money and she made a civil contract with you over the payment and delivery of the tickets
However she could take you to a small claims court which will cost her about £90 and get the court to levy a county judgement against you for the money and the court costs...borrow the money and pay her back before it costs you more
